The Musical Instruction Method is a Patented Invention (U.K. Patent No. 2519390) and holds UK Registered Design Nos. 5000568 through 5000572. It allows users to play music in minutes without having to learn to read sheet music. It develops playing skills and encourages the player with the enjoyment of making music in minutes. Musical notation is gradually learnt as players become more proficient. Players learn at their own pace and in a unique way allowing them to perform music without having to learn music on a stave in the traditional manner.
MiM won Double Gold at the British Invention Show 2015. The Award was presented by Kane Kramer, inventor of the Digital Audio Player, who stated "It makes total sense and is perfect for children".
